As if once wasn't crazy enough, in two weeks our Team Chris runners will once again take on the 200 mile Ragnar Relay to raise funds for our work. This year all the funds raised go towards our Naloxone Education and Access Program. Check out their fundraising site here.

The CAF is working to combat this opioid crisis by spreading awareness, education, and access to a life-saving overdose antidote called Naloxone.

Naloxone works safely and effectively in as little as 3 minutes to reverse an otherwise fatal overdose from prescription pain killers or heroin. Some states, including VA, have passed new laws allowing anyone to carry it, but there are still signifigant barriers to getting the medication into the hands of those who need it - like the nearly doubled cost, and training requirements.

We believe that everyone who has a loved one taking opioids for any reason should have this medication on hand just like someone with an allergy would carry an epi-pen and we are dedicated to spreading awareness of it, training in how to use it, and the means to accquire it. Donate now to help us in our fight to stop opioids from claiming more lives. No one should have to discover their loved one dying of an overdose and be powerless to save them.

BIG THANKS to our program sponsors!
