As part of our ongoing eduction and stigma fighting efforts, The CAF hosted a screening of the documentary film "The Anonymous People" at Roanoke College on Feb 24th. The event was put on in collaboration with the student run Roanoke Culture Shock Club, and took place just one day after the two year anniversary of Christopher's death. After the film we heard from a young woman who came all the way from Northern VA to share the story of her recovery journey from heroin addiction, PTSD and depression.

The Anonymous People is an award winning documentary film about the 23.5 million Americans living in long-term recovery from addiction, and the national recovery movement. For more information on the film, and to watch the trailer, click here.
